We are pleased to announce that Sean Raynor, the General Manager of Integrated Dealer Services (IDS), received the RVDA Chairman’s Service Award for his role in developing the Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT) reports.
Tim Wegge, the owner of Burlington RV Superstore and now former RVDA chairman, presented the awards to Raynor and three other recipients during the 2018 RV Dealers Convention/Expo held in Las Vegas from November 5th to 9th.
The reports Raynor and his team developed allow RV dealers to anonymously compare their RECT data to that of other dealers across North America in order to:
What the IDS team has done is create a scorecard this industry will use for decades to come,” said Wegge. “This is just the beginning, and I look forward to watching how the results of this change the entire industry moving forward. The award was well-deserved.”
The second recipient was Mike Regan of Crestview RV, headquartered in Buda, Texas, who according to Wegge, “has been an invaluable resource in getting the RECT project going.” Regan provided Crestview’s enormous amounts of repair data to help our team with building out those reports.
The other two recipients were Randy Biles of Pikes Peak Traveland in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Darrel Friesen of All Seasons RV in Yuba City, California.
So, congratulations to all the award winners and everyone who contributed to the development of the RECT reports! To learn more about the other winners, check out this article.
